Capacity Building Programme on Science


Ms Neha Sharma, Ms. Namrata Sharma, Ms Simi George, Ms Parul Deveshwar (Science teachers) attended  two days(20.09.2019 to 21.09.2019) Capacity Building Programme on class X Science organised by CBSE,COE ,Delhi.

CBSE Capacity Building Programme in association with Microsoft


Ms. Divya Arora and Ms. Somya Gupta (Computer Science Teachers) attended 3 days CBSE Capacity Building Programme in association with Microsoft on the 'USE OF ICT '. On the first day, the teachers were introduced to OFFICE 365 software and did activities on Forms, Paint 3-D and Sway. On the second day, the teachers attempted 7 courses and were awarded with MIE certificates from Microsoft. They also learnt the use of Teams, Minecraft and Flipgrid. Day 3 they were given basic introduction to AI and teachers completed their remaining certification courses from Microsoft.

Workshop on Secondary School Assessment


Ms. Renu Ajay (Vice Principal) and Ms. Priyanka Joshi (Science Teacher) attended the workshop on Secondary School Assessment hosted by CBSE, COE, Delhi at New Horizon School, Mathura road. This workshop was facilitated by Mrs Neeta Rastogi , former Principal of Sadhu Vaswani School. In this workshop, concerns were discussed related to difficulties faced by secondary students and also about the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and the changed pattern of assessment.

Capacity Programme on Khelo India


Mr. Bitto Saini (Sports Teacher) attended Capacity programme on KHELO INDIA hosted by CBSE, COE, Delhi. The program was conducted at Ashok Memorial Public School, Faridabad and emphasized on how to conduct KHELO INDIA PROGRAM ,its benefits and also on the online assessment.

Social Science workshop by CBSE


Ms. Aditi Tandon and Ms. Sayeli Sen (Social Science teachers) attended 2 days Capacity Building Programme organised by CBSE , COE, Delhi on 13.09.19 and 14.09.19. Resource person Ms Prabha and Mr Jitender made the teachers do Various activities on social science and taught them question framing methods.

English workshop by CBSE


Ms. Ashima kohli and Ms. Aiman(English teachers) attended CBSE Capacity programme workshop on 13.09.19 and 14.09.19. Resource person Dr Indu Kehtrapal-Principal, Salwan Public School and Ms Malabika Chattopadhyay of Delhi Public School gave tips on teaching of English core and examination procedure.

Workshop on 'Artificial Intelligence for High School' - CBSE - IBM Initiative


Ms Divya Arora (Computer Science Teacher) attended 3 days (11.09.2019-13.09.2019) workshop on  'Artificial Intelligence for High School' organised by  CBSE - IBM Initiative .The main aim of this workshop was to target the teachers of Grade 11 and Grade 12  to make them aware about Artificial Intelligence as a Skill Subject for Grade 9-10 along with a 12-hour ‘Inspire’ module for class 8 and building curriculum for AI K-12 .The  orientation session took place under the guidance of the CBSE Chairperson, Ms Anita Karwal and IBM Vice President, Mr Gaurav Sharma who addressed the gathering sharing the significance of AI as an emerging technology and the need to foster an AI-ready and innovation-ready ecosystem for educators and students. 

English Wordsworth Workshop


The workshop regarding English Wordsworth language lab was conducted for the English and ICT teachers in the senior computer Lab of the school. The session was conducted by Mr. Arindham Bhattacharya. The software caters to the various needs of a student while dealing with English as a language, including listening, reading, writing and speaking activities and provides various sessions and activities which would help the English teachers to promote and instill this language into the students.

Workshop on Digital Assessment


10 teachers attended the workshop that was conducted in the school auditorium.  The resource  person Mr. Gagandeep Singh focused on giving a detailed analysis of class performance that would enable teachers to judge their students performance at every level. The workshop was indeed enriching that outlined the advantages of technology for assessment.

CBSE Workshop on Gender Sensitivity


Ms Anjali Rana and Ms Tanu Mahajan attended the CBSE one day workshop on Gender Sensitivity at G D Goenka Public school, Sarita Vihar, Delhi. Resource person  Ms Chhaya Gupta - School counsellor, National Victor Public School, Delhi gave some informative examples of gender sensitive language in school and how to make gender sensitive lesson planning. The event was designed to eliminate the generic use of his/her/him and how to use gender sensitive language in classroom.
