CBSE-Capacity Building Programme
English teacher, Ms. Davneet attended CBSE-Capacity Building Programme in class IX-English at Maharaja Agrasen Public School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Ruchi Sen in a jovial and interactive manner. Ample handouts and activities were given to be taken up in the classes for subject enhancement. It was an interactive and informative session which empowered the teachers for engaging the students in the classroom.

Workshop on Tablet Based Learning was conducted by Ignitor Learning for the teachers of classes VI-VIII (Ms. Anu Sethi, Ms. Megha Kaushik, Ms. Itee, Ms. Geetika Vij, Ms. Tanya Virmani, Ms. Gurpreet Tuli, Ms. Shilpi Pasi, Ms. Baldish Kaur, Ms. Anjali Kaushik, Ms. Sunayna Kwatra, Ms. Priyanka Joshi, Ms. Heena Vishwanath, Ms. Sangeeta Aggarwal, Ms. Heemakshi Suri Bareja, Ms. Sayeli Sen, Ms. Anita Rani, Ms. Surabhi Gupta, Ms. Mala Mishra, Ms. Aashna Virmani, Ms. Samiksha Sharma, Mr. Deepanshu Sharma and Ms. Lagan Khanna) . The workshop was very informative as it highlighted the use of technology in the education system in a very effective manner. The resource person explained the benefits of using tablet for educating the students which will help reduce the burden of bags.
GLOBE Protocol Training
Ms. Manini Gaur , Science teacher attended GLOBE Protocol Training conducted by Dept. Of Environment, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi for Eco-Club teachers and students at DAV Public School, Pitampura. This training programme was regarding Globe Annual Meeting at Dublin, Ireland to be held on first week of July 2018. The workshop provided information on the activities conducted by Globe Program for students. A data entry manual and environmental activity manual was also provided for guidance.
Jodo Gyan Workshop
The workshop was organised for teachers of classes Nursery-II and Mathematics teachers teaching classes II-VII by Jodo Gyan, which is an NGO that works towards developing new ideas and innovative material to teach Mathematics mainly at pre-primary and primary level. The resource person introduced different kits and tools such as Ganit Mala (100,200 and 1000 beads), Rangometry (different shapes in different colours), Fractions Kit, Number Sticks, Maan Cards (Place Value) etc., that can be linked to the topic and used while teaching Mathematics.
Mega Conference on Sports and its Application
Sports teachers, Mr. Bitto Saini, Mr. Arun Yadav, Mr. Arjun , Mr. Krishan Thukral attended the conference on Sports and its Application by Sh. Vijay Goelrn(Hon'ble Minister of State, youth Affairs & Sports Govt. Of India).
Workshop on Flipped Classroom
A Workshop on Flipped Classroom was conducted by Goenkan teachers, Ms. Davneet, Ms. Geetika Nandwani and Ms. Sanchi Singhal for the teachers of Classes III-X. The session aimed at providing the teachers with alternate strategies to make learning in classrooms effective & interesting.
Workshop on Flipped Classroom
A Workshop on Integrated Approach, Children with Special Needs and Flipped Classroom was conducted by Goenkan teachers, Ms. Romina Michael and Ms. Sonali Bhatia for the teachers of Classes Nur-II. The experience was shared amongst the teachers and the concept of Flipped Classroom was introduced. Various links were shared as well as worksheets and activities were shown which helped in understanding the concept. Also, many strategies were shared regarding Children with Special Needs and how to deal with them in inclusive education.
Workshop on Flipped Classroom at GDGPS, Vasant Kunj
Two teachers from Pre-Primary and three teachers from III-X English Department attended a three day workshop on Flipped Classroom, English Language Training and Mapping Learning Objectives at GDGPS, Vasant Kunj. The session on first day was addressed by M. Gayatri, who enriched the participants with various techniques of teaching English language using a lot of activities. Session on the second day was addressed by Mr. Udai and Mr. Rajat from CRISP organisation, introducing the concept of Flipped classrooms to make the teaching effective and innovative. The session on the concluding day was taken by Ms. Kalpana on Mapping Learning Objectives, where she majorly focussed on Bloom's Taxonomy.
